NOVAFOODIES CONSORTIUM MET IN CORK

Novafoodies M24 Meeting at University College Cork: A Hub of Collaboration and Innovation
The Novafoodies Consortium gathered at the scenic University College Cork for its M24 meeting, celebrating two years of progress with a strong focus on collaboration and future impact.
Highlights included a hands-on workshop led by ACH and LVA, where partners worked in three groups to co-develop a shared learning model. A clustering session organized by SPES followed, featuring presentations from Dr. Dorinde Kleineris (InnoAqua, NORCE) and Dr. Maria Hayes (Algae4IBD, Teagasc), sparking ideas for joint dissemination and future partnerships.
LVA also hosted a workshop to stimulate dialogue among experts, generating recommendations for novel and competitive functional foods.
The meeting reinforced Novafoodies’ commitment to co-creation, knowledge sharing, and sustainable innovation. A special thank-you to Linda O’Higgins for her warm hospitality and outstanding support in organizing the meeting and its activities with such kindness and dedication.
