NOVAFOODIES PRESENTED AT ALIBETOPIAS 2024
ALIBETOPIAS celebrates its 10th anniversary with a focus on Innovation, Sustainability and Digitalization.
This event, organized by the Spanish Food and Drink Federation, together with the Technological Platform Food for Life Spain and with the collaboration of the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, marked its 10th anniversary with valuable discussions and talks about the future of the food and drinks industry.
On October 24th, relevant stakeholders from the Spanish food industry, academia, research centres and policy makers, met in Madrid for this unique event that served as a meeting point to explore new synergies and promote knowledge that will help companies in the agri-food sector to gain size and become more competitive in the international market.
Key topics included innovation, sustainability in the food system, and the role of digitalization in the food industry. The event counted with relevant speakers on bioeconomy and circular economy, promotion of healthy and sustainable food systems and revalorization of food products.
Anfaco Cecopesca presented an overview of NOVAFOODIES project, highlighting the innovative functional food production systems based on a sustainable value chain of marine and freshwater raw materials.
In the event’s framework, and thanks to their place in the exhibitors’ corner, FIAB had the chance to promote the NOVAFOODIES project, engaging new stakeholders and sharing the aim of the project of developing novel and competitive products from marine and freshwater resources.
ALIBETOPIAS invited top-level speakers and counted with more than 300 attendees sharing new ideas, projects and results in a participative and collaborative environment. The succesful celebration underscored the ongoing commitment to advancing technology and sustainability in the food and beverage industry.
